Championship Weekend in the NFL

Championship week in the National Football League is upon us! This is a fun yet bitter sweet time of year for NFL fans, as we will likely see of some very competitive games of football this weekend yet in the back of our minds, we know this season is coming to a swift end. This weekend we are likely to see the guys giving their all to play for that ever-elusive championship.

Ralph Lawler Named California Sportscaster of the Year

Five African American NFL Head Coaches Fired

Five of the NFL’s seven African American head coaches were fired on December 31st. Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks was fired after just one season. The Cardinals’ record was 3-13 — the worst record in the league — but over the last 18 years, there have only been ten head coaches who were fired after only one year. Three of them were African American.

Headlining this fight card were the Charlo Twins with their respective championship title defense.

Clippers Continue Great Community Support

The Los Angeles Clippers continue their large community contributions as they recently unveiled a set of refurbished outdoor basketball courts at Crozier Middle School in Inglewood. There were several courts that were resurfaced and had new backboards and rims added to give a good look and make the courts a safer place to play.

The Clippers Giving Back During the Holiday Season

The L.A. Clippers and Clippers players will spend next week giving back to the L.A. community at five-holiday events across the city. On, Tuesday, December 18, the Clippers will host the 13th annual Adopt-A-Family event, where six Clippers players will give 31 local families toys, dinner, and special surprises.
